MEET JIM
With over 10 years of experience building and designing carriages at Frey Carriage Company, Jim brings knowledge and skill to help you find and fit the perfect carriage for you and your horse or pony. His priorities are in the nuances of carriage fit and balance with a keen focus on quality craftsmanship and comfort of the equine.
A dedicated member and former board member of the Dairyland Driving Club, Jim has consistently contributed to the driving community. He often volunteers as ring steward at some of the carriage driving shows in Wisconsin. Additionally, he serves on the boards of the Wisconsin Horse Council and the Midwest Horse Fair, further demonstrating a commitment to equine sports and advocacy.
Excellent and personalized customer service is Jim’s mission. He is happy to help with carriage fit and balance or any questions you have about your Modern Carriage.
COMMUNICATIONS
MEET KRISTI
Kristi handles the communications through the website and social media. She has always had horses in her life since the age of 11. She got interested in carriage driving some years ago and started taking lessons with Wes Licht. Jim met Todd Frey and then later worked for Frey Carriage for ten years when Kristi purchased a carriage for her Haflinger. Jim is now carrying on, opening his own company and building carriages again since Todd passed away in 2023.
Kristi’s goals are to provide excellent customer service and to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. She will do her best to make sure all of your carriage needs from Modern Carriage are met and in a timely manner.
